Parents, Huntington High School is needing your help to make sure we are able to provide the right programs and resources for your child’s academic success. Completing this survey will confirm our school receives the full amount of federal and state funding and makes sure your child receives all the educational services and programs they are entitled to receive. Because we are a district that provides free breakfast and lunch to all students, we have not captured some critical information that is used by federal and state agencies to provide schools with funding based on family income. The information can also be used to determine if your child qualifies for ACT vouchers or other resources. All data collected is confidential. If your student or household is currently receiving SNAP, TANF, Medicaid or Disaster SNAP, completion of this survey is not necessary. If you have any questions, please contact your school for more information.

There will be a FAFSA night again on Thursday, April 4th at HHS from 5-7 pm. Parents this is something seniors must have completed for graduation so make sure to get this info if you haven't had a chance to make the first night.

A familiar face will be returning to Huntington High School! We are excited to share that Nicholaus Smith is the new Principal of Huntington, a campus where he played an integral part in the school’s success during his five years as an Assistant Principal. Mr. Smith previously served as the Principal of Caddo Middle Career & Technology School, where he worked diligently to enhance the climate and culture at CMCTS. During his tenure, he saw growth in teacher retention and student achievement. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Smith back to Huntington!
